Top 10 Physical Therapy Clinics in Oklahoma City, OK
FAQ's:

Here are some of the common questions asked by new patients.

Why are people referred to physical therapy?

You and others may be referred to physical therapy because of a movement dysfunction associated with pain. Physical therapists treat these movement dysfunctions and their associated pain and restore your body's ability to move in a normal manner.

How long will I need physical therapy?

You may need a few visits or you may need several months of treatment depending upon your condition. Your physical therapist and your doctor will help you decide how long you will be treated.

Who will treat me?

You will be evaluated by the physical therapist and he will also treat you during subsequent visits. Unlike some clinics where you see someone other than your physical therapist or someone different each visit, we feel it is very important to develop a one-on-one relationship with you to maintain continuity of care. Since your evaluating physical therapist knows your problems best, he is the one that will be working with you to speed your recovery.

Who pays for treatment?

In most cases, health insurance will cover your treatment. Click on our insurance link for a summary of insurances we accept and make sure you talk to our receptionist or office manager so we can help you clarify your insurance coverage. Cash plans are also available.

Do I need a referral?

In Oklahoma, you do not need a referral to be evaluated or treated by a physical therapist. However, in order for a physical therapist to deliver treatment after a 30 day treatment period, a referral must be obtained from your doctor. If you don't have a doctor, call us. We work with some of the best in town and we'll get you to the person who specializes in your condition.
